Our lead services are for businesses only, such as insurance brokers, agents and insurers. They are not offered to consumers. By using our website or placing an order, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use our website or services.

2. Definitions

  • We, us, our means MyMoneyComparison.com Ltd, trading as Lead2Quote.
  • You, your means the business that uses our website or buys leads from us, and anyone acting for it.
  • Lead means the contact details and quote information of a person or business that has asked to be contacted about a product or service.
  • Order means the written agreement between us, including by email, that sets out the lead products, filters, volumes, price per lead, delivery method, payment terms and any return rules for your account.
  • Filters means the criteria agreed in your order that a lead must meet, such as product type, location or risk details.

If your order and these terms conflict, your order applies.

3. Using our website

You may use our website to find out about our services and to contact us. You must not:

  • Use the website in a way that breaks any law or regulation
  • Try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its server or any connected system
  • Introduce viruses or other harmful material
  • Copy, scrape or reuse content from the website without our written permission

The information on our website is general information about our services. It is not advice, and we may change it at any time. We aim to keep it accurate and up to date, but we cannot promise that it is complete or free from errors.

Our website may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content, and you visit them at your own risk.

4. Our lead services

We generate leads from people and businesses who have asked to be contacted about a quote. Before a lead is sent to you, it goes through our validation process and is checked against your filters.

Your order sets out the lead products you buy, your filters, the volumes you want and how leads are delivered, for example by email, CRM integration, broker portal or API. Leads are sent in real time once they are captured and validated.

Lead volumes depend on customer demand, so we cannot promise a set number of leads in any period, and we cannot promise that any lead will result in a sale. Your account manager will tell you if we expect volumes to change significantly.

You can ask to change your filters, volumes or delivery method at any time. Changes take effect once we confirm them in writing.

5. Your responsibilities

When you buy leads from us, you agree that you will:

  • Hold the authorisations and permissions you need to quote for and arrange the products in your order, including FCA authorisation where it is required
  • Contact each lead promptly, and only about the product or service the customer asked about
  • Treat customers fairly and meet your obligations under FCA rules, including the Consumer Duty where it applies
  • Follow data protection and marketing law, including the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations
  • Stop contacting a customer who asks you to, and keep a record of their request
  • Not sell, share or pass on leads to anyone else without our written agreement
  • Give us accurate information about your business and tell us promptly if anything changes, including your contact details or authorisations

6. Prices and payment

You pay a price per lead, as set out in your order. There are no upfront fees: you only pay for leads as you buy them, unless your order says otherwise.

We will invoice you, or take payment, in line with the payment terms in your order. Prices are shown excluding VAT, which is added at the current rate where it applies.

If you do not pay on time, we may pause lead delivery until your account is paid. We may also charge interest and compensation on late payments under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

We may change our prices by giving you written notice. New prices apply to leads delivered after the change takes effect.

7. Lead quality and returns

If a lead you receive does not meet your filters or fails our validation standards, for example because the phone number does not work or the lead is a duplicate, you can ask us to review it.

To request a review, contact your account manager within the return period in your order and tell us which lead it is and why it should be returned. If we agree the lead does not meet the agreed standard, we will credit or replace it.

A lead cannot be returned only because the customer did not buy, could not be reached after first contact, or chose another provider.

8. Data protection

When we send you a lead, you and we each act as separate data controllers for the personal data in it. Each of us is responsible for meeting our own obligations under data protection law.

You must keep lead data secure, only use it to provide the quote the customer asked for, keep it no longer than you need it, and tell us without undue delay if you become aware of a data breach that affects lead data we supplied.

Our privacy and cookie policy explains how we handle personal data, including the personal data of the businesses we work with.

9. Confidentiality

Each of us will keep the other's confidential information private, including prices, order details and business information, and will only use it to carry out our agreement. This does not apply to information that is already public, or that the law or a regulator requires us to share.

10. Intellectual property

We, or the people who license material to us, own the content, design, logos and trade marks on our website. You may view and print pages for your own business use, but you must not copy or reuse them for any other purpose without our written permission.

11. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss of profit, revenue, business or opportunity, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to leads is limited to the fees you paid us for the leads the claim relates to.

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.

12. Pausing and ending our agreement

You can pause or end your lead delivery by giving us written notice, in line with any notice period in your order. We can do the same by giving you written notice.

Either of us can end the agreement straight away by written notice if the other seriously breaks these terms and does not put it right within a reasonable time of being asked to, or becomes insolvent.

If our agreement ends, you must still pay for leads delivered before it ended. The sections on data protection, confidentiality, liability and payment continue to apply.

13. Questions and complaints

If you have a question about these terms, or you are unhappy with our service, please contact us and we will try to resolve it quickly.

14. General

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page. If a change affects an active order, we will tell you in writing before it applies.

These terms and your order make up the whole agreement between us about our lead services. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will still apply. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.

Nobody other than you and us has any right to enforce these terms. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our written agreement.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
